Online Hostel Room Booking for 2022/2023 Academic Year

Notice

All incoming First Year Students reporting to Main Campus on the Monday, 22nd August,
2022 are hereby notified that the Online Hostel Room Booking System will be available from Thursday, 18th August, 2022 from 2.00 p.m. to enable you to book your bed space for the First Semester (August/December, 2022).

To be able to book a hostel room see the procedure below. 

Those who will opt for Off-Campus accommodation MUST fill the non-residence form available in the students portal.



Online Room Booking Procedure

1. Students are advised to check for the booking timelines set for Hostel Room Booking for various groups of students on the University website https://www.mu.ac.ke/

2. Once you have been registered as a student of Moi University, and immediately an announcement is made about Hostel Room Booking timelines, visit:
i. The student portal via https://portal.mu.ac.ke for course registration;
ii. On the accommodation tab, proceed to book a hostel room based on the availability of bed space;
iii. If not interested in campus accommodation, then proceed and fill the Non-Resident Form which is provided in the student portal;

3. Once complete, download the invoice for your campus accommodation or a Non-Resident Form which you will present to the Hostels Officer for allocation of the booked bed space.

Note that you are expected to pay accommodation and tuition fees to the Moi University fees bank accounts indicated below:
